Welcome to KekCon! We're a brand new gaming convention and internet culture event right here in Atlanta. We offer a place where gamers, and geeks can have an environment suited just for them. What Gaming content will be at KekCon?
Unlike other conventions which strictly focus on what's new and trending, we here at KekCon, focus on old school games (with a few new ones in the blend of course). We will be offering content from classic and competitive to the immersive, to fan-made and modded, and even to the unreleased and obscure!! We love gaming in all its forms and it's about time someone give it a light to shine! We have BYOC, LAN Tournaments, Table-Top, panels, and streamers. Come one come all and share what games you love and cherish with everyone in the community. We plan on having some hands on workshops with some real game developers in the industry! Be sure to join the conversation in our discussions about the ethics and current status of the gaming industry to make the big companies listen to what real gamers have to say for themselves.

Yes you heard right. What makesKekCon so special is that it quite literally will have MEMES at the event! From Meme cosplay contest, to the Super-Slav dance off. We've got only the dankest in demand here! We'll even be having a live BALL PIT in our hall of memes! So come on down and show us what memes YOU can post IRL. We'll also be giving away free Mountain Dew and Doritos.
Registration
We are proud to announce that this will be a FREE to attend event. (With that being said you must still register on-site for a meme-bership badge as we require all attendees to comply with our policies.) Be sure to reserve your room here to help show your support of the convention. Furthermore, we have negotiated some special discounts for transportation and parking for our attendees.
After much consideration and fighting for freedom of the internet, gaming and fandoms. We realize that by offering a free to attend event; it will represent the freedom not only offered by the internet ,but also showing the community that we are willing to give back. The adversity we have faced from those who would like to censor and control the internet for the sake of political gain ,and the fight for "nerdspace" has showed us just how truly important this event actually is. More than we had ever expected. Many large businesses, corporations, organizations, etc have caved into the demands of power hungry individuals. We, as a symbol of hope and activism; want to offer something that will not cave into the demands of those who seek to ruin not only our beloved fanbases, but our rights on the internet as well. We, KekCon, are a symbol of freedom; ran by the gamers, for the gamers. Sparking a #DigitalRevolution to #FreeTheInternet.
